KSU Miracle has always placed a huge emphasis on being a family. As a family it is important that you know why we do what we do. Our 'why' is our everything. It's what keeps each member of this organization going when the road gets long and our goals seem so far out of reach. Get to know us by getting to know our 'why's.
Catch us on #WhyDMWednesday on our social medias.
MEET THE PRESIDENT
Alex king | Executive Director
"I dance and serve KSU Miracle for the kids sitting at Children's Healthcare right this moment. For the kids in pain, and for the kids that have been called home to Jesus. I dance to raise awareness and shed light on childhood illness, so that one day, every child is able to dance.
MEET THE DIRECTORS
"I rise money in support of KSU Miracle and CHOA because every child deserves a fighting chance. I dance for the children and families impacted by this hospital. I dance for the children who are are too good for this world and are dancing up in Heaven with Jesus. I dance for my peers, family, friends, and generations to come. I dance to make a difference and to serve others. All my heart for the kids!"
"My why is my friends' whys. While I personally have not been treated at CHOA, I fight for my loved ones that have been and still are being treated there. My why is for the kids that can't fight on their own. My why is to be part of something bigger than myself and positively impact as many lives as possible."
"I dance for the kids who made the choice to never give up, to never go down without a fight, and the ones who have a story, that can make this world a better place. I dance for Aidan who is currently battling Leukemia. I dance because there is a great joy found in choosing to be apart of something greater than yourself.."
"I dance for Will, for Shae, for Paige, for Tori, and for Alivia. I dance to give glory to God, that by His guidance, this movement will raise the awareness and funds necessary to bring an end to childhood illness. I dance because where there is great love, there is always miracles."
"I dance for the patients in Children’s lying in their hospital beds; from the tiny babies and the brave kids to the teenagers and young adults that are my age fighting these unimaginable battles. I dance to advocate and be a voice for those who have enough strength to move mountains, and an amount of faith huge enough to rock your entire world. I dance for my amazing co-chair Bailee Raker and her brother who is dancing down the streets of Heaven, but who I am so sure is smiling down on his sister with absolute pride and joy. I dance for all of those that are gone too soon, and those who just began their fight. Nothing can stop me from dancing; because even after we beat this, we will dance in celebration!."
"I dance for Mama Lospinoso."
